Bright red summer fruits, strawberries and raspberries, with a complex spice note. Given the ripeness of the fruit on the nose, the palate begins surprisingly dry. Refined, with pronounced red fruit aromas and a long, fresh finish.
Il y a un moment de joie qui accompagne l’ouverture d’une bouteille de bon vin mousseux. Les grands vins tranquilles se dégustent solennellement, mais les vins effervescents nécessitent la compagnie d’amis, de partenaires et d’amants. Libertine est une célébration de ces liens de plaisir.
Le Lower Essex a connu la plus forte augmentation de la réputation de toutes les régions viticoles en croissance d’Angleterre. Un comté composé en grande partie d’argile, de gravier et de sable qui a été traîné et déposé d’ailleurs. Il abrite aujourd’hui une culture viticole qui n’a traversé que récemment la Manche.
Les étés longs et secs donnent un avantage à l’Essex. Les saveurs de fruits sont toujours un peu plus luxuriantes qu’ailleurs, et le corps du vin est intrinsèquement plus ample. De plus, il y a quelque chose d’irrépressible et d’esprit dans ce coin estuarien d’Angleterre qui déborde sur Libertine.
Ce vin rosé assemble deux cépages nobles – Pinot Noir et Chardonnay. C’est une collaboration entre deux Masters of Wine anglais qui ont passé la plupart de leur temps en exil à produire du vin à l’étranger. Essex les a également surpris. Il semble que pour le vin mousseux, il n’y a pas d’endroit comme à la maison.
