Elegant aroma with some floral notes and predominance of red fruit (Strawberry and Cherry). Very pleasant and elegant in the mouth, fruity and dry but with good acidity and involving finish.
Manual harvesting by grape varieties and by plots for 18KG boxes. Grape selection table. 70% with direct pressing of the grapes for freshness/acidity and elegance and 30% from “sangria wine” to concentrate the aromas and flavors of the grapes. Cold maceration and fermentation at 18º degrees in vats. Indigenous yeasts were used to preserve the characteristics of the selected grapes and the terroir of our Quinta. Stage on thin lees (sur Lies) of 6 months.

Sagrado
Located in the heart of the Douro, Quinta do Sagrado has 20 hectares of terraced vineyards. The vineyards planted in 14 plots separated by grape varieties, in addition to its privileged situation, bathed by the river and impacted by all the Douro’s diversity, give the Quinta an unrivalled production of quality and a very high reputation. Quinta do Sagrado is a remarkable estate, born out of tradition, cultivated from a passion for Port Wine and created to produce special, premium wines of the finest selection that the Douro can offer the world. The wines are produced in the traditional way, through the picking and selection of grapes by hand, foot treading in granite lagares and winemaking in small batches. This process gives Quinta do Sagrado wines a long ageing potential.
