O Produtor, tasting note published in August 17th 2023
Salmon-coloured rosé, revealing a floral nose and some red berries. Fresh wine, with high acidity, but well balanced with its unctuousness. Slightly saline touch at the end of the mouth, keeping the aromatic profile of the beginning of the tasting.
Meticulous and manual harvesting respecting the integrity of the grapes. Natural vinification without the addition of yeasts, sulphites or any type of stabilizer. Open tip method with slight maceration in the press, fermentation and ageing for 8 months in barrels.

Ramilo Wines
Since 1937, the Ramilo family has been dedicated to wine on the Atlantic coast between Colares and Mafra, once one of Portugal’s most famous wine regions. Four generations later, dissatisfied with the abandonment of local traditions, brothers Pedro and Nuno Ramilo left everything and returned to their origins. They faced blockades, moved stones and mountains, rehabilitated farms, saved old vineyards and replanted new ones. They rescued from oblivion the true vines of Colares and the noble varieties of the region.
