Niepoort
Niepoort launched its first rosé in 1999, demonstrating that a quality wine could also be a rosé. Fermented in barrel and sourced from old vines, Redoma is a harmonious and highly gastronomic rosé. With the freshness of a white and the complexity and structure of a red, it offers a different perspective on rosé.
VINIFICATION:
The grapes for Redoma Rosé come from Quinta de Nápoles and several nearby parcels of old vines. After a careful selection on the sorting table, a delicate pressing was carried out, followed by cold decanting for 48 hours. Alcoholic fermentation occurred spontaneously in French oak barrels of 228 and 500 liters, where the wine rested for about 6 months.
PAIRING:
Oysters, baked fish, poultry, and white meats, or vegetarian dishes such as dishes with root vegetables (turnip, sweet potato, beetroot), Caesar salad, and cheese dishes.
