Lagoalva
The long tradition of Quinta da Lagoalva as a wine producer is evidenced by its presence at the 1888 Portuguese Industry Exhibition, where it showcased 600 casks of wine.
The Lagoalva rosé wine is born among the estate’s 45 hectares of vineyards, planted in the best “terroirs” of the Tejo region and composed of national and international grape varieties with proven enological qualities. The vineyards of Quinta da Lagoalva benefit from a modern training system, just like the winery, which combines efficient winemaking with a great versatility of enological choices, balancing the “New World” model with traditional European approaches.
Winemaking: Harvested mechanically in September during the night to preserve aromas, the grapes were immediately processed at our winery. After flotation, the clarified must fermented in stainless steel tanks at 16ºC. The two grape varieties were vinified separately, and the final blend was fined, stabilized, and filtered before bottling.
Winemakers: Pedro Pinhão / Luís Paulino.
