Herdade do Rocim
The ‘Mariana’ Rosé is a young and joyful wine, with generous fruit, freshness, and aromatic richness, revealing the charm of the region.
Climate: Typically Mediterranean, presented in the sub-region of Vidigueira, where climatic conditions are the most temperate in Alentejo, providing an optimal microclimate for the production of high-quality wines.
Soils: Low-productivity, of granitic and schist origin. Great pedological potential for vine cultivation and the production of excellent wines.
The Touriga Nacionalgrape variety is cultivated using the LYS system, a multi-spatial system with a large exposed leaf surface, while Aragonês is cultivated in a single upward plane. The orientation of the rows is East-West.
Vinification and Aging: Manual harvest in 12 kg boxes. After selection on a vibratory sorting table, the grapes underwent cold skin maceration. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 14ºC for 15 days. After bottling, the wine aged in the bottle for a period of two months.
