Although the Douro is a very old region, thanks to its large size and enormous diversity of terroirs it still has a lot to explore. Quinta de La Rosa is a good example of this diversity, with vineyards from around 100 metres above sea level, next to the river in the imposing Vale do Inferno, to 500 metres above sea level in the Lamelas vineyard. We also have different sun exposures to the east, north and south and a great diversity of grape varieties. Always with a privileged view of the River Douro, all the Quinta’s grapes are letter A – the best the region has to offer.
