Vila Real
Origin – Grapes from vineyards planted between 100 and 550 meters, classified from letter A to F, generally from traditional Douro vineyards facing south/west with high planting densities. Grape selection at different altitudes to achieve a good balance between the aromatic fraction and the structure.
Vinification – Reception with destemming and immediate crushing, grapes conveyed to pneumatic presses through heat exchanger tubing. Fermentation in stainless steel vats with a capacity of 18 tons, with maceration at about 24°C. Gentle vinification at lower temperatures to produce elegant and smooth wines.
Partial aging for 4 months in American and French oak barrels.
