Cabernet Franc is the wine's centrepiece, highlighting black raspberries, black cherries and a complex, spicy bouquet of Herbs de Provence and dried thyme. Grown in the iron-rich soil of our Sonoma County vineyards, and cultivated in the legendary tradition of Pierre Seillan, this more structured and precise wine finds perfect balance in a high centre of gravity and a long finish. - February 2018
Great wines are often created in difficult years. The year 2008 is no exception: sometimes it was hot, sometimes it was cool and sometimes it was humid. These three conflicting elements resulted in great wines with balanced acidity, fruit, body and alcohol. The harvest took place from 4 to 25 September.

With more than 50 “micro-crus” across four appellations, Vigneron Pierre Seillan carefully crafts each blend of Vérité. This mosaic of micro-crus provides Seillan with the palette of aromatics, flavors, textures and structural elements he needs to craft the wines of Vérité.
Each micro-cru is harvested and fermented separately, then aged in French Oak barrels of various custom toasts.
Seillan carefully tailors his winemaking techniques and oak regimens to the personality of each lot, providing him with hundreds of unique components he can use to create the architecture of the final blends of La Muse, La Joie and Le Désir.
