Man plays an essential role in wine creation. It all starts with human hands: planting the vines, tending to them, and harvesting the succulent grapes they produce. Handcrafted wines are combined with mastery, blending different barrels to create the final batch. The careful combination of selected flavors and notes results in the finished wine.

Van Zellers & Co VZ Douro White is made from native Douro grapes, sourced from old vines in the Murça district, at approximately 500 meters altitude. This wine is Crafted by Hand, emphasizing blending as one of the most important aspects of winemaking. The selected vineyard, about 70 years old, gives rise to a blend of Viosinho, Rabigato, Códega de Larinho, Gouveio, and Arinto.

Pairing: Ideal with creamy cheeses, seafood, or codfish dishes.
Winemakers: Cristiano van Zeller and Joana Pinhão
This wine has great aging potential in the bottle, promising a harmonious evolution over the years.
