With an intense red color and slight violet reflections, it has an intense and elegant aroma, highlighting red and black forest fruits well combined with subtle floral and spicy notes that provide complexity. On the palate, it is a full-bodied wine with fine and silky tannins well integrated with the fruit. Persistent finish. A wine of "terroir.
Manual harvesting by grape variety. Total destemming, fermentation with moderate temperature control, and daily pump-overs. Extended post-fermentation maceration. Aged in French and American oak barrels for 14 months. Unfiltered and not cold stabilized. May develop sediment.

Valle Pradinhos
Valle Pradinhos is an historic, family-owned 350 hectare estate established in 1913.The wines are a blend of native grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela and Malvasia Fina, and renowned international grapes Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Riesling.
Maria Antónia Pinto de Azevedo Mascarenhas is the current owner of Casal de Vale Pradinhos. Since she took over the management of the property in 1994, she has implemented her vision of winemaking in the style of the wines that are produced here. Her daughter Maria will be the 4th generation of women directly involved in the management of this estate.
The estate’s “old world” terroir and passionate wine making team combine perfectly to deliver premium world-class Portuguese wine.
