The scent reveals a vibrant nose, showing cherry fragrance and a touch of violet. The taste is vibrant and fresh, with a creamy texture on the palate.
The grapes were harvested by hand and crushed into a small open tank. Fermentation was conducted by indigenous yeasts. It aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels and another 24 in bottle.

VADIO is situated in the village of Poutena in the region of BAIRRADA. It is a small and family project founded in 2005 by winemaker Luís Patrão, whose essential element is the recovery of traditional grape varieties and the production of authentic DOC BAIRRADA wines. We have three totally distinct small vineyards and an old warehouse which we have adapted in a very simple way for the production of wine. Our wines present a classic style that intends to respect the authenticity of the region and the character of the grape varieties that give it origin.
