Trans-Douro-Express
The TRANS-DOURO-EXPRESS is an exploratory journey through the Douro, composed of three wines that aim to express the characteristics of their origin. The Douro Demarcated Region is divided into three subregions: Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo, and Douro Superior. Each has its own history, culture, and, most importantly, climate, resulting in distinct wines.
The Trans-Douro-Express Cima Corgo comes from vineyards located in the Cima Corgo, an intermediate region situated between Baixo Corgo and Douro Superior.
Climate: Mediterranean. Precipitation (annual average): 600mm.
Soil: Schist.
Vinification: Fermentation and aging for 8 months in concrete tanks.
