Torre Muga
The vineyards are influenced by Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Continental influences, blending together in great harmony to create an ideal climate for grapes. They are planted in limestone-clay and alluvial soil.
Vinification: Fermentation always begins naturally and spontaneously. Grapes ferment in wooden vats with indigenous yeasts and no temperature control. Maceration times can vary, up to two or three weeks. The wine ages for 18 months in new French oak barrels from the Allier region. After aging, there is light clarification of the wine using fresh egg whites.
Food Pairing: This wine pairs well with aged red meat, game, or enjoyed on its own as a last resort. It can also be recommended to accompany grilled white fish.
