O Produtor, tasting note published in August 14th 2021
Ruby colour, clear and bright. Aroma of fresh berries, black cherry, wet clay and some balsamic notes. It is dense in the mouth with soft attack and intense finish, with the presence of tannins characteristic of Aragonês.
Manual harvest of a blend of 95% Aragonês and 5% Antão Vaz. After destemming, the grapes are taken to marble presses where fermentation takes place and the traditional foot treading is done, followed by a 10-month ageing period in amphora.
