O Produtor, tasting note published in March 27th 2014

Very elegant and fruity aroma with notes of blackberries and blueberries and a soft touch of red berries, toast and sweet spices. In the mouth it presents intensity, freshness and softness, fruity notes of blackberries, cassis, blueberries, light toasted notes, coffee and chocolate all in good proportion and with very delicate tannins. Long finish full of harmony and complexity

Sagrado

Located in the heart of the Douro, Quinta do Sagrado has 20 hectares of terraced vineyards. The vineyards planted in 14 plots separated by grape varieties, in addition to its privileged situation, bathed by the river and impacted by all the Douro’s diversity, give the Quinta an unrivalled production of quality and a very high reputation. Quinta do Sagrado is a remarkable estate, born out of tradition, cultivated from a passion for Port Wine and created to produce special, premium wines of the finest selection that the Douro can offer the world. The wines are produced in the traditional way, through the picking and selection of grapes by hand, foot treading in granite lagares and winemaking in small batches. This process gives Quinta do Sagrado wines a long ageing potential.
