Dark-coloured, bright, the aroma, characteristic of this variety, has notes of wild flowers and red fruits. The oak notes are present well balanced with the fruit. In the mouth it is very generous with the characteristic astringency of its youth, predicting a remarkable long
ageing.
Crushing of the grapes with total destemming, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats, with
selected yeasts, at a temperature of 28-30oC. The maceration time was 14 days and the pumping over was smooth. Ageing in 225 litre French oak barrels for 14 months.
Before bottling the wine was subjected, only, to a light filtration by cellulose plates, in order to preserve all its structure. Bottled in August 2019.
