Very concentrated garnet colour. Aroma of very evident red fruits with soft nuances of tobacco and dark chocolate. Smooth attack with fruity and toasty notes. Fresh and balanced. Structured but elegant.
Very persistent.
The 2014 harvest was exceptional in the Douro region and more specifically in Quinta dos Quatro Ventos.
The balance between rainfall and temperature throughout the year allowed us to obtain high quality grapes of the Touriga Nacionaland Touriga Franca varieties.
Manual harvest with selective sorting followed by cold maceration for 5 days and vinification in stainless steel wineries.
Aged for 14 months in French and Russian oak barrels.
