Quinta dos Abibes
THE DREAM MATERIALIZED…
He arrived at Quinta dos Abibes because, as Alberto Caeiro wrote, The amazing reality of things is my everyday discovery. Every thing is what it is, and it’s hard to explain to anyone how much I’m happy about it”. Francisco Jorge Batel Marques, mentor and viticulturist, materialized the dreams, the senses and the meanings of his cultural archetype in the creation of wines, as a list of the imaginary of his maternal roots, on earth, and paternal roots, at sea. In a place where, since at least the 18th century, wine was already made.
