O Produtor, tasting note published in June 24th 2024
Aromas of ripe wild berries, black plum, and violet, integrated with notes from the barrel where it aged, creating a complex and refined ensemble. The tannins are round, integrated, with good structure and an elegant, fresh, and very persistent finish.
Superior Tinto is a full-bodied wine with solid yet tamed tannins. Its intense and complex flavor with spicy notes from the Cabernet pairs perfectly with red meat dishes and black pork sausages. Delicious with a dish of black pork cheeks.
Vinification: After the manual selection of whole clusters, the destemmed grapes ferment in vats with mechanical treading at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC), followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels.
A wine of unparalleled quality that embodies the soul and tradition of Alentejo; full of vigor and spirit, it promises excellent evolution in the bottle.

Quinta do Paral
The Quinta do Paral project was revitalized in August 2017, when businessman Dieter Morszeck, former president and grandson of the founder of the luxury luggage brand Rimowa, acquired 85 hectares of land in Alentejo. Wine has always been one of the entrepreneur’s passions and his dream is to build a family business, create wines on the estate and luxury tourism. With the acquisition of the estate by this new administration, it was redesigned in collaboration with winemaker Luís Morgado Leão. The focus of the quinta is sustainability combined with great respect for Alentejo culture and tradition. Besides creating excellent wines, a charm hotel is also under construction at Quinta do Paral with around 18 rooms, so that wine lovers can discover the unique wines of QUINTA DO PARAL in an environment of beauty.
