Located in São João da Pesqueira, one of the most renowned wine-producing regions in the Douro, Quinta de Cidrô has become a true center for viticultural experimentation throughout the region. On a virgin land, state-of-the-art technology was applied to plant the best grape varieties, over an area exceeding 150 ha.

Touriga Nacional, considered the king grape variety in Portugal, is the predominant variety at Quinta de Cidrô. The altitude of the property provides the ideal freshness and acidity for producing elegant red wines.

In recent years, Touriga Nacional has experienced significant qualitative development, establishing itself as the best and most emblematic grape variety of Portugal. Historically associated with the Dão region, this variety, also from the Douro, has expanded to other regions of Portugal, including Alentejo. Furthermore, its international expansion, notably to France and the United States, is well known.
