This Touriga Nacionalis a complex wine with great varietal character, red fruit aromas and pronounced floral notes. Although intense and expressive, it is a fresh and elegant wine.
In recent years, Touriga Nacionalhas benefited from a significant qualitative development, placing itself as the best and most emblematic grape variety in Portugal. Being historically associated with the Dão region, this grape variety, also Douro, has already expanded to other regions of Portugal, namely the Alentejo. On the other hand, we are aware of an international expansion, with reference to France and the United States.
Touriga Nacionalis a versatile grape, having as its main characteristics a small bunch, low yield and a very cut leaf. Its intimidating presence in the vineyard represents its strong personality through a rebellious and prostrate vegetative development, always requiring constant care.
