O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2018
On arrival at the winery, the grapes were selected twice: manually and using an optical sorting machine, which selects berry by berry according to its size and format. After an initial cold maceration, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel mills at controlled temperature. Aged for 18 months in 500 litre French oak barrels (50% new and 50% used).
It is a wine of quite intense colour, with floral aromas, very ripe red fruits and fresh mint notes. The tasting is balanced, with remarkable acidity and excellent volume. Very round and smooth, it has a full fruit finish and very persistent.
