At Quinta de Ventozelo, each grape variety tells a story. But also, from several grape varieties, a single story has been crafted. In the case of the Blend, we have a trio that fits together perfectly. The exuberance of Touriga Nacionalis complemented by the elegance of Touriga Franca, spiced up at the end by Tinta Roriz. A wine that, with each glass, speaks to us about the fruit, the land, and the vegetation of Ventozelo.

Vinification: Manual harvest during September, with careful grape selection. Aging for 12 months in 300 and 500-liter French oak barrels.

Quinta do Ventozelo Blend red wine is a gastronomic wine that pairs perfectly with dishes from traditional Portuguese and generally Mediterranean-influenced cuisine. Its balanced profile also allows it to be enjoyed on its own.

Quinta de Ventozelo

In 2014 Quinta de Ventozelo was acquired by Gran Cruz, the largest Port wine exporting company in Portugal, which was already processing its grapes since 2011.
Since that moment, Gran Cruz’s strategy has sought to enhance the enormous potential of the property. This involves not only working on the richness and diversity of its wines, but also investing in olive oil, wine tourism and nature tourism.
In a total involvement with this place and its terroir, all the work developed has as main focus to privilege and preserve its simplicity and authenticity
