With a bright and intense red colour, its aroma is enveloping and characteristic with emphasis on cassis and woodland fruits. In the mouth it is structured and balanced confirming the notes of forest fruits and complex vegetable elegant and with tannins present promising good bottle potential.
The grapes were vinified with a short cold maceration. They fermented at a controlled temperature of 26ºC, for 8 days, with a daily “deléstage” regime and manual pumping over. Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel vats. The wine aged in barriques (50% new) for 12 months which was followed by a prolonged ageing in the bottle.
