These wines are obtained after fermentation at controlled temperature in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance, in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and subsequent ageing for 18 months in order to enhance its structure and complexity.

Quinta de Lemos produces true nectars of the Dão! Our vineyards are tended with care by patient and experienced hands. In homage to the Dão, we create exclusive wines from the region’s native grape varieties. Located 7 km from Viseu, the district capital and a charming city, the estate sits on the Beira Alta plateau at an altitude of 340 meters. In this green paradise in central Portugal, we have a total of 50 hectares – 25 ha of vineyards, 7 ha of olive trees, and the rest divided between pine forest and vegetable garden.
