Touriga Nacional, full and voluminous with the sweet and structured Tinta Roriz and the complex aroma Jaen, grows on slopes between 350 and 400 metres high. The vineyard is conducted within an integrated protection programme and the application of herbicides is forbidden. Weed control is carried out with soil mobilisation. Harvesting is manual, grape variety by variety, when they reach the optimum point of ripeness, between the 2nd fortnight of September and the 1st of October. The harvest is done in small boxes of 10 kg. These wines are obtained after fermentation at controlled temperature in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance, in stainless steel vats for 20 days. The wine performs the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, where it is kept until bottling.

Quinta de Lemos
Quinta de Lemos produces true nectars of the Dão! Our vineyards are tended with care by patient and experienced hands. In homage to the Dão, we create exclusive wines from the region’s native grape varieties. Located 7 km from Viseu, the district capital and a charming city, the estate sits on the Beira Alta plateau at an altitude of 340 meters. In this green paradise in central Portugal, we have a total of 50 hectares – 25 ha of vineyards, 7 ha of olive trees, and the rest divided between pine forest and vegetable garden.
