Quinta de La Rosa
The summer months were hot and dry with two rainy days at the end of August which gave us ideal conditions for the grapes to ripen and develop. We started harvesting on 9th August and this lasted until the following 2 months, as during the harvest we stopped and started again several times so that we could harvest the grapes at the ideal ripening state. The conditions were perfect. We ended up producing grapes with excellent quality and concentration. The wine did the malolactic fermentation and aged in French oak barrels from different cooperages (Francois Freres, Taransaud and Seguin Moreau) for 18 months before being bottled.
