Quinta de Adorigo
Viticulture: In conversion to organic and regenerative practices.
Soil: Shaly gravel, with areas predominantly composed of blue schist.
Altitude/Orientation: Between 180 and 300 meters, north-facing.
Vintage Year: The year was marked by good precipitation in winter, followed by a dry start to spring. The end of spring and the beginning of summer saw some rainfall, which helped replenish the soil’s water reserves. July and August had no precipitation, with some rain occurring in mid-September. The result was a long, fresh harvest, occasionally rainy.
Winemaking: Plots/Varieties: A blend from the oldest vineyards of Quinta de Adorigo, carefully selected | 60% Vinha Velha, 10% Touriga Francesa, 15% Tinta Roriz, 15% Tinta Barroca. Fermentation in cement and stainless steel tanks, with aging in cement and barrels.
