Quinta de Adorigo
Viticulture: In conversion to organic and regenerative farming practices.
Soil Type: Gravelly schist, with some areas predominantly blue schist.
Altitude / Exposure: Between 180 and 300 meters, facing north.
Vintage Year: Despite an initial advance in the vegetative cycle, the pace slowed down throughout the year. Spring was marked by heavy rainfall, especially in April, but the following months experienced mild and generally cool weather. These conditions allowed for balanced ripening and a long, calm harvest.
Vinification: A blend from the oldest vineyards of Quinta de Adorigo, carefully selected: 50% Vinha Velha, 20% Touriga Francesa, 20% Tinta Roriz, and 10% Tinta Barroca. Fermentation in cement and stainless steel tanks. Aging in cement and wooden barrels.
