O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2017
This red has a ruby color of good intensity and an intense aroma, resembling ripe red fruits. In the mouth shows a balanced acidity and an excellent aroma. Very soft tannins that give it a good finish.
This wine comes from vineyards with 5000 feet per hectare, located at 500 m of height and planted in granitic soils with lines of sand. From a different caste this singular wine was obtained. The process was entirely manual with the absence of pumps, minimal extraction and yeasts, evidently natural. Like any collection wine, the bottle stage is advised.

For the Quinta da Pellada come mainly grapes “field blend” from the old vines, but also the Touriga Nacionaland Tinta Roriz, where it discovers the intense fruit and freshness from the farm grapes that give the name to this wine.
