Quinta da Fata

In the demarcated region of Vinho do Dão, the oldest demarcated region for table wines in Portugal, at Quinta da Fata, a plot on a high ground with a slight slope to the south, providing it with a sunny exposure that benefits the wine, this Quinta da Fata Tinto is born.

Quinta da Fata wines continue to be produced using classical processes, with fermentation in granite lagares and aging in oak casks, and have received numerous awards in national and international competitions.

Vinification Notes: Fermentation took place in traditional granite lagares with foot treading.

Aging Notes: With a one-year aging in French and American oak barrels, it then underwent natural stabilization and a light filtration.

To be consumed at a temperature of 18º to 20º with meat dishes, game, and strong cheeses.

Quinta da Fata

Quinta da Fata is located in the Dão wine region. The slight slope to the south gives it a sunny exposure that benefits the wine and makes it particularly pleasant. Besides the vineyard, the quinta has gardens, wide lawns and wooded areas. Among the many trees, an imposing centenary linden stands out. Both the lime and the tower with the old water tank are clearly visible and allow the farm to be easily identified from a distance.
