Structured wine, with freshness and concentrated colour and aromas, where the ripe red fruit and some black fruit stand out, associated with some toasted notes. A wine with a persistent and harmonious finish. The natural acidity typical of the region stands out, giving it great gastronomic versatility.
Fermentation in traditional ‘lagares’ (traditional treading tanks) followed by ageing in second year French and American oak barrels for 12 months, with only natural stabilization and a light final filtration in order to maintain its full potential. It may gain deposit during bottle ageing.

Quinta da Fata
Quinta da Fata is located in the Dão wine region. The slight slope to the south gives it a sunny exposure that benefits the wine and makes it particularly pleasant. Besides the vineyard, the quinta has gardens, wide lawns and wooded areas. Among the many trees, an imposing centenary linden stands out. Both the lime and the tower with the old water tank are clearly visible and allow the farm to be easily identified from a distance.
