O Produtor, tasting note published in August 28th 2017
Deep red and intense aromas of Touriga Nacional, with a floral bouquet, excellent structure and firmness and elegant tannins very well balanced with oak. It is a modern, complex, full-bodied wine with ripe fruit, lively acidity and a finish that lingers.
The grapes were hand selected and harvested with extreme care into 18 kgs boxes, were taken to the winery, and stayed overnight so they could be at a lower temperature before the start of the process. They then had a total removal of the stalk and were gently crushed and kept in stainless steel vats, where fermentation took place with a temperature control of 26º to 28ºC.
