After making seven vintages as winemaker for Real Companhia Velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to launch an individual project where he could apply his ideas and control the entire production process. Without compromise, a wine that would reflect his interpretation of the Douro. In 2001, he launched the Poeira project, located in Provesende, on a hillside in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name.

A vineyard, an inspiration, the search for a more elegant and subtle face of the Poeira vineyards. A wine that celebrates women in general, but also one in particular, Olga Martins.
