This wine comes from a limited area, the Quinta dos Pasmados, an 18-hectare property located 5 km west of Azeitão. Originally known as “Tinto Velho J.M. Fonseca,” it was later renamed after the famous Pasmados Fountain, built in Azeitão in the 18th century.

Soil type: Clay-limestone
Winemaking: Fermentation with skin maceration at 28°C.

Aging: 10 months in oak barrels.

Serve at a temperature of 14°C alongside red meat dishes.
