Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Alfrocheiro combine perfectly in this luxurious red wine, polished by time and barrel. Ripe wild fruit, balsamic and spice notes, delicate wildflowers, a softly smoky touch. It is a voluminous red with silky tannins, very creamy and enveloping mouth but enlivened by fine acidity that gives it elegance and distinction.
It is in the village of Santar that you will find the Paço dos Cunhas de Santar, a 17th century property dedicated to the production of olive oil, fruit and wine to supply the markets of Porto. Nowadays the tradition is still breathing in Paço dos Cunhas de Santar, but the cellar has invested in modern and advanced technologies to maintain the habit of producing wine, something that began about 400 years ago.
