O Produtor, tasting note published in April 12th 2028

Dark purple colour with intense aromas typical of these native varieties and of our vineyards. Powerful with great structure, firm tannins and a lively acidity that lingers to a bright and persistent finish.

Ninfa

The Mediterranean climate is influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, resulting in large diurnal temperature changes. The vineyards are planted on mineral-rich clay-limestone soils with excellent drainage and sun exposure. The resulting wines are naturally balanced, concentrated in flavour and fresh, with good ageing potential. The grapes are hand-harvested when the ideal balance between ripeness and freshness is achieved. The fruit is carefully transported to the winery in 12Kg boxes. The grape bunches are hand selected and gravity fed into stainless steel tanks where maceration takes place for 4 days at controlled temperatures, followed by 10 days of fermentation. The young wine is then aged in new 225L French oak barrels for 14 months.
