This wine has a limpid look, and a ruby color. It features an aroma of red berries and wild berries, well wrapped in subtle notes of fresh spices. In the mouth it is intense and rich, with solid structure and persistent finish.
Concept: A wine for all occasions. With balanced and gastronomic profile, it portrays the best aromas and flavors of the Alentejo grapes. Vineyards: Vineyards with 18 years of age planted in granitic and schistous soils, with a clay structure. Vinification: Destemming, crushing, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperatures, pressing, malolactic fermentation, minimum stage of 3 months in stainless steel vats.

Herdade do Esporão
Founded in 1973 by José Roquette and Joaquim Bandeira, Esporão is one of the most important wine companies in Portugal.

In 2014, Esporão was included in Wine&Spirits’ “100 Best Producers of the Year” list and won the “European Business Awards for the Environment” in the “Products and Services” category.
