The new edition of Monte da Peceguina Tinto 2022 presents itself with a dark purple color and reveals a highly expressive nose where aromas of red and wild fruits stand out, along with floral notes. On the palate, the fruit profile persists, with a medium structure, very fresh, and firm yet mature tannins. A Monte da Peceguina Tinto with good potential that will evolve quite well in the bottle.

Monte da Peceguina

At Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, nothing is left to chance. The grapes, harvested from the Malhadinha, Peceguina, and Terges vineyards, are hand-carried in 12 kg baskets and immediately received at the winery.

Vinification: Grapes are manually harvested into 12 kg crates and carefully selected on the sorting table. Fermentation took place in a lagar and truncated-conical tanks at a controlled temperature with several treadings throughout the entire process. Partial aging for 9 months in French oak barrels. Bottled in June 2023.
