Garnet-coloured, opaque and concentrated. It has a complex and sophisticated floral aroma, with hints of cassis and jam. Firm and full-bodied tannins, enveloping and secure. The finish is very long and deep.
Grapes from the oldest vineyards of Monte dos Perdigões were carefully selected and vinified separately in Alentejo marble presses. We maximised the extraction of aromas, colour and structure with the aid of mechanical treading and prolonged macerations. Aging lasted 18 months in new “allier” fine-grained, medium toast new French oak barrels, followed by 1 one year in bottle.
