Monte Cascas
From a Mediterranean climate with continental influence, hot and very dry summers, and vines planted in granitic soil, this Monte Cascas Grande Reserva is born.
The harvest took place in September, and it was a manual harvest.
Vinification and aging: The grapes are destemmed and crushed directly into the tank. Three days of cold soaking; Alicante Bouschet ferments at 24°C to preserve the primary fruits. Aging for 18 months in French oak barrels.
Pairs very well with typical Alentejo cuisine, such as game, strong cheeses, sausages, and ham.
