Vinho Tinto Sólido 2021 is a blend made with love by Ljubomir Stanisic and Mateus Nicolau de Almeida, with 40% from Old Vineyards of Superior and Baixo, 35% from Old Vineyards of Baixo, and 25% from Old Vineyards of Superior.

Rooted in the depths of history, with multiple layers of subsoil in its composition, it has a rugged soul and rock-like structure. High density, great complexity, and simplicity in equal measure. Made of sun and soil, it is full of character. A hard, wild Douro character.

The winemaking includes foot treading of whole bunches in a calcatórium (granite basin) for 3 hours, followed by pressing in a vertical press. The must flows by gravity into cement tanks in an underground cellar, with excellent natural conditions of temperature and humidity. Spontaneous fermentation occurs without temperature control. The aging lasts for 1 year in cement tanks.
