Turbulent and grumpy, it reveals itself with grit, body, and boldness. It lives in the danger zone, always on the edge, a red line between tension and impulse, an energy called desire.
PERIGOSO red wine is a blend made with love by Ljubomir Stanisic, Inês Capão, and Luís Louro, with 28% Alicante and Aragonez, 16% Syrah, 24% Alicante, 24% Tinta Miúda, and 8% of Lote “Sempre Cheio” Branco.
The harvest was manual, with total destemming. Fermentation took place in BINs with foot treading and temperature control, followed by a 15-month aging in 500L and 300L French oak barrels (new and used).
