Meandro
It was a relatively calm viticultural year with normal temperatures for the respective seasons. This allowed, in the beginning of the harvest, for the vineyards to be in good condition overall, with foliage being green, vibrant, and grape clusters in excellent phytosanitary condition. It resulted in red wines that are very well-balanced with good structure and concentration.
Vinification: After crushing, the grapes undergo a thermal shock followed by foot treading for four hours in granite lagares. The must is transferred to small-capacity fermentation tanks with temperature control. The grape varieties are vinified separately, both in granite lagares and fermentation tanks. It ages for 14 months in second and third-year French Allier oak barrels.
