O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2019

Dark red with purple notes. Very intense and powerful aromas, but elegant, dominated by notes of bergamot oil and balanced with aromas of forest berries (blueberry and mulberry) with high quality oak well integrated. Elegant and voluptuous, fresh and well balanced with notes of forest berries. Long finish.

Lua Cheia Em Vinhas Velhas

The Full Moon project in Vinhas Velhas is the result of the passionate connection that its 3 founders – João Silva e Sousa, Francisco Baptista and Manuel Dias – have maintained with the Douro for over two decades. After so many years of being surprised by this unique wine-growing region, in 2009 it was time to show how they saw Douro wines. The company’s history begins that year with Murça white wines – an area forgotten by progress, but which produces unique wines full of identity.
