O Produtor, tasting note published in May 27th 2022

Strong ruby colour, very aromatic, with notes of red fruits. In the mouth it is structured, concentrated but very fresh, with ripe and round tannins. As in the nose, very aromatic with notes of red fruit. Long and persistent finish. Ideal to accompany roasted meats and game, as well as soft cheeses.

Lua Cheia Em Vinhas Velhas

The Full Moon project in Vinhas Velhas is the result of the passionate connection that its 3 founders – João Silva e Sousa, Francisco Baptista and Manuel Dias – have maintained with the Douro for over two decades. After so many years of being surprised by this unique wine-growing region, in 2009 it was time to show how they saw Douro wines. The company’s history begins that year with Murça white wines – an area forgotten by progress, but which produces unique wines full of identity.
