This Loios, Red Regional Alentejo, is born from grapes whose vines are planted in clay-limestone and schist soils. Harvesting is done mechanically and manually depending on the plot. The grapes are crushed and destemmed, followed by a 24-hour maceration. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in rotating tanks.
It pairs well with red meats, poultry, and pasta dishes.
