It is a wine with a brilliant ruby colour, with an opulent aroma of red fruit such as cherry and raspberry, it has a medium body, fresh and with a vibrant structure of mature tannins, silky and elegant finish.

Herdade DaCalada was founded in 1854 by the descendants of the Duke of Lencastre, surrounded by cork oaks and eucalyptus from Australia, Herdade da Calada hides among the soft hills of Alentejo. Over the years it has been the subject of various interventions and improvements, but it preserves the beauty and elegance of the original feature of the main building and today it is one of the most modern and innovative wine-growing areas in Portugal, with a wine tourism unit, 35 hectares of vineyards, 110 hectares of olive groves, 60 hectares of cereals, 215 hectares of cork oak forest and magnificent accommodation.
