Miss Fuse is a disconcerting teenager who has always shown her irreverent, stubborn, and jovial side, but also her sweet, gentle, and elegant side. Miss Fuse was born with the freshness of her mother, who was named Maria Gomes, and the complexity of her father, a true high-quality Spanish specimen named Tempranillo. Born and raised on the slopes of the salt marshes of a small town near the sea, Rio Maior, this girl grew up happy and free. Raised on an organic diet, she is a young woman full of life and strength.
Galerna is a storm, the one that, in our cellar, inaugurates a production of younger wines, unfiltered and with unconventional characteristics. Galerna is restlessness, describing the close relationship between mother and daughter. Galerna is turmoil, our passion for animated films, for their stories, and what they teach us. Galerna is reinvention, a caricature commissioned from a friend and created by an artist who reflects the personality of the wine and the person who made it. Galerna is a new beginning, ours and yours.
Vine Age: 10 years.
Soil: Clay-limestone.
Vinification: A fusion of Tempranillo and Maria Gomes grapes, picked early to retain all their tension and nerve. Separate fermentation of the organic grapes, foot-trodden with no intervention. Unfiltered.
